This collection of work was made in the final year of study at Plymouth College of Art. Charlotte's investigation into the decay of the body, disease and disorders led to a body of work made primarily from glass and found objects. The first in the work is titled 'Invasion' and was part of a work in progress exhibition- Curious? held in the College campus. Bronchi, tubing and deformed cells create imagery on glass through enamel painting and hot processes when the glass is blown.

The later pieces of work are also works in progress, exploring the affects of Radiotherapy on the human body. A case study into cancer treatment and the psychological and physiological strain caused by cancer is communicated through blown and etched glass.
